このモデルはストラップに穴が2列に開けられていますがこれはデザイン的には優れたものと思いますが、耐久性と言う点を考えれば穴が1つのものでもよかったのかもしれませんね。やはりこの穴の部分から劣化していきますから。

私のカーキアビエーションは何10周年記念モデルになっていて鳥の羽根のような刻印がされているのが特徴で、それを含めて全体がオリジナリティーに溢れたモデルでした。それを気に入っていたんですが、今回はそのストラップが販売終了となっていて買えなかったのでこのストラップを選択しました。当然のことながらその刻印がないのでオリジナルの良さが失われてしまいました。オリジナルのものはスムースレザーで作られていて耐水性がほとんどなかったと思います。今回のストラップは爬虫類の皮でできているようで耐水性がどの程度あるのか楽しみです。
